This is me adding my faith and prayers to all those who are praying for comfort for the families affected by the Connecticut Elementary shootings. I wept when I heard. Fear has tried to put it's foot in my door all weekend and I refuse to let it. God has not created me to hide away in my house afraid, to keep my kids frozen in my fear. What I can do in a situation where I feel helpless is to love all those around me, to express that love openly without fear of rejection -- to not allow my fears to stop me from letting someone hear the most important words imaginable, "I love you."
