I went out on a Mommy -Tiger time with my 5 year old little lady. We went swimming like I did with her big sis and I laughed a lot-- we played tag and I was her pet dolphin and we tried jumping the waves (it's an indoor wave pool -- sad, but the only waves we get here in the Rocky mountains in February). It was good to laugh. It was great to just be with Tiger. She is in the middle and I feel her getting squished sometimes. Loves gets help with schoolwork and a listening ear to hear all about school and Burger is 2 and still has me help him to get to sleep and nap and pick him up and Tiger is.. in the middle. When Nyle gets down for a nap and I go to have one-on-one time with Tiger, I end up falling asleep half the time because it is that time of the day where if I sit, it's all over. I love all of my kids the same, not one more than the other, I can honestly say that, and so I pray that Tiger feels that. I make sure I let her know that, and I hope it is enough. So swimming with just her was fabulous... and then we had doughnuts & hot cocoa....a bit of warm sunshine in the winter. Yum.

  1. It's beautiful that you make one on one time for each of your children. Swimming then doughnuts and cocoa, how perfect!

I'm a middle child myself, and I always loved being in the middle. I'm sure Tiger feels your love and best of all, she has two siblings to grow up and be best friends with.
