"Mama I Poopie....I..mmm...Poopie"
followed not long after by
"I Yuck it!"

No, this is not me talking about my son talking about his bowels. This is my 2 1/2 year old Burger asking for,  then enjoying a Smoothie. Yep, that's right, there is no audible difference between him saying he has a poopie diaper & him asking for a delicious homemade fruit smoothie. And yuck in this situation means "Like."

oh and p.s. if he ever asks for "Hockey Book" you were right to give him "Chocolate Milk" see, it's not so hard to understand.

(The pic here is of Burger dancing to a Yo Gabba Gabba Robot Piano at my lovely sister-in-law's house -- He LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba)

  1. Cuteness. Oscar's 'like' sounds a little like 'yuck' too, now that you mention it! But 'milk' in our house is 'mont' not 'book'. Funny how you it all makes sense to the mum, but everyone else gets totally puzzled.

  2. Milk for my oldest was "mow-key"...Now we can add linguists to our growing list of attributes we've gained from motherhood!
