Umm....Let me tell you a little secret about my mom...

You know how people call someone a "cat lady" if she has A LOT of cats and she is totally okay with it, in fact she ADORES them like they were her own babies? Well, my mom is that way with PLANTS...She is a PLANT LADY. She is completely fine with it, in fact, she has to go to the garden center at least twice a month through the winter to breathe in the juicy fresh greenhouse air. And we always bring home a new plant. We even have names for some of them... That air plant she got from her dear friend Aimee (whose shop Studio of Living Art is here) I named him "Randy" and she thought it was flat adorable. Tiger named the lobed succulent in the pink pot "The Bum Plant" because bum bum jokes get a giggle and well, it looks like a bum. "Planty plant plant plant plant plants..." (sung to any Yo Gabba Gabba tune)

    1. It's been a long process with many casualties-- I started with a Rubber Tree plant, those things are almost impossible to kill (I say "almost" because I have killed numerous plants since that fell into the "impossible to kill" category).
