Each winter I escape to the garden center just down the road from us, multiple times. We go and feel the sun through the greenhouse roofs and we see the tanks and indoor ponds filled with brilliant colors of fish and we wander around smelling the luscious green plant air and we get so warm we have to take off our coats and we each buy a little plant to take home and love, to get us through til Spring.
