Every year we host an Unbirthday Sleepover with all of our  extended family's kids (on my husband's side). Any child who is potty trained is invited. This year, including my three squishies, we had 23 kids from age 24 down to 4 ( I know, sounds like a lot, but when your husband has 6 brothers & sisters & they all have a grundle of kids, it just happens that way). I pick a movie that we all watch and at crucial times (i.e. hilarious words, saying, moments) I stop the movie and we play a game -- all of us. This year we did the new Muppet movie. It was a blast. I get really liberal with my game choices-- at one point three cousins had their pinky toes in a pot of pudding while rolling cabbages towards 3 others who had to push the cabbage back across the floor using only the pointy parts of a party hat that was strapped to their heads. We also usually do a dance sequence to some song in the show, so we all had to do a sequence over & over to "Having a Me Party". Other adventures included pickled jalapenos, popping balloons on the ceiling on each others shoulders and holding hot dogs in our mouths and trying to stick them into a sled full of snow without using our hands. Life is never better than when I'm surrounded by the people I love -- sticking my toe into a pot of pudding.
