My 3 year old Burger threw a party this week... This was his party-- toys dangling off our little kid-sized drum set. His Hippo Webkinz that he adorably calls "Hungry" is the host of this party & if you look close you can see Burger & I in the Giant "disco" ball. He planned this party all on his own.

I need to learn from my kids and make the everyday a party. I do love to Dance to music while doing dishes, but maybe I could try disco-ing while scrubbing the toilet or doing the worm as I mop the floor. Maybe I could do with a little more shuffle ball-change in the grocery store line. A little more cha-cha at the Pediatricians...That's what I'll do if I can just get myself off the couch.

  1. Spontaneous party dancing is a must I think! My kids think I'm bonkers when I crank up the tunes and dance round the kitchen, but they love it. Good for the soul!

  2. I love those corners where you can see what your kids have done and enjoyed. I have a photo series I'm working on called Harp was Here that captures our unique landscape.
