It was with much intrepidation that I sent off my handmade ornament for Christina Lowry's Ornament swap-- linked up here. I say "Intrepidation" because this was my first attempt at any sort of swap and I don't get easily intimidated, but I was when I saw all the amazing creations done by the rest of the group. I had to keep reminding myself that I made it with love, and that I always cherish any gift given because I feel that love from the giver, and I have to hope that my receiver will feel the same way too! So, alright already, I'll show you my ornament:
ahem--I was going to show you my ornament-- and then my computer died while I was typing the above introduction. And my computer is the only place the pictures of my ornament are -- and since it is already on its way to Wonderland, I'm out a picture.. So here is a rendition-ish of what it looks like:
I cut a bunch of yellow stars from a leather-like material and attached them to a ball I made. I'll post a real pic as soon as I get it.

12/6 - Revision
I'm finally back online with a working computer that still has my pictures on it -- so here is the lovely I sent off:
I also included a bag of peppermint herbal tea and some stickers... well, what can be done now? Just have to hope for the best... and maybe wait a few years until I've better perfected my crafting skills to enter a crafting contest :) To the lovely woman I gave to -- I really did put a lot of love into this and I hope you have a very Happy Christmas!
